This picture was taken from the top of Hillbrow Tower. Unfortunately, it doesn't show as clearly the sad state that the buildings in this metropolis have sunken to as the naked eye does.
Nonetheless, a very well-travelled viewer has mentioned that this does look like the slums of Sao Paolo or Mexico City or Manila or any other third world city.
