INTRODUCTION:

This program is a BBS door which allows sysops to administer the
CMU "Sexual Purity Test" to their users.  The test results, in
percentages, are then made public for users' entertainment.

The test itself is designed to measure the subject's "sexual
purity", which in most cases is exactly the opposite of the
"sexual depravity" the subject usually REALLY wants to gauge.
It consists of 400 questions which range from the very tame
("Have you ever held hands...") to the very sick ("Have you ever
eaten feces...").  The end result of the test is a percentage (a
simple "Yes/No" count average) where 100% means 100% purity,
i.e. the subject has never done anything sexual or immoral.  0%
means the subject is probably lying or else uses the purity test
as his/her guide through life...

The test takes from 15 to 30 minutes to complete, depending on
the user's recollection and state of mind.

Once you have completed the test your score will be visible to other
users.  If this is a problem for you then don't take the online test;
instead download PURITY.TST and take it in the privacy of your computer
room.

This questionnaire consists of some 400 questions and will therefore take
a while to complete.  Most of the questions are very personal and could
be embarrassing.  Other users will be able to see your score but not
the specific answers.  If you hang up in the middle of the test your
score will not be saved!  This is your LAST chance to bail out!

Not too many of the HMVH Corporation BBS' users had the balls to take the time and complete the full 400-question test, reportedly out of fear that the individual answers were not really as private as the introduction claimed (yes, they really were private).
